A poem by Elijah Gurvich

Endless time

For a moment everything is frozen

As of old it is picturesque

Foliage shines

Wind blows

Golden warmth falls perfectly on my face

What was this?

An homage to divinity packed into the mundane?

Time without purpose is a curse

But purpose can be sourced at any juncture

Time is a curse to the apathetic one

Open your eyes

Look for it

Eject from the dark nothingness lying ahead

A gift has been given

Walking back from Shmira feeling the lightness of fall and the beauty of stillness
Walking back from Shmira feeling the lightness of fall and the beauty of stillness
